International Sand Sculpture Festival, Burgas, Bulgaria 2013
Alley of Fame is this year’s theme of the Burgas Sand Sculptures Festival. Bulgaria is one of the 15 countries in the world where such festivals take place. The Sand Sculpture Festival launches the first week of July and if the weather permits ends in the end of September.

Asparukh was ruler of a Bulgar kingdom in the second half of the 7th century and is credited with the establishment of the First Bulgarian Empire in 680/681.
Krum the Horrible was khan of Bulgaria from sometime after 796 but before 803 until his death in 814.
His able and energetic rule brought law and order to Bulgaria and developed the rudiments of state organization.

Horse riding base in Burgas
The horse riding base /the also so-called race course base, because there you can train/ was opened in 2007. It is considered to be one of the best horse bases in Bulgaria. It disposes of more than 50 horses and ponies. It is fully equipped and has all the medical services aquired, including specialist who can help disabled adults and children too. It is located on a land of 20 decares / 20 000 square meters/ and the investment is quite big too - nearly 1 mln E.
The horse base is situated next to the coastline, in a closeness to a Hotel, named PARK. Is is calm and beautifull there. Ypu can just walk to the seagarden which is just some meters, approximately 100-200 to it.
